At about 03.00 hours on the 25th October, 1939,

I was asleep in the cabin on the starboard side of the

above junk, when I was awakened by the firing of a number

of shots. I did not go un on deck, I remained in the

cabin. I heard my brother named PANO FUT say that we

were being attacked by a Japanese motor boat. I did

not see the Junanese motor boat.
